If a Jefferson County Sheriff's Office employee provided exceptional service, we encourage you to submit a commendation. Commendations are shared with the employee and their supervisor and become part of their personnel record.

Complaints
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office takes all complaints seriously. If you believe an employee acted improperly, you have the right to file a formal complaint.
